lab.Bode is a project of the National Museums in Berlin and Federal Cultural Foundation — it tests, evaluates and documents methods of cultural mediation.

The appearance picks up on the laboratory’s idea and visualises the experiment: a line is assigned to each letter. The letters appear on these strokes, thereby visualising the systematics of an experiment: Either the experiment succeeds (and the correct letter appears), or it fails (no letter appears) — or something unexpected occurs, but it still works.
